Reality Fracture Commanders Ranked: All 89 by EDHREC Decks

Four weeks after release, players have logged more than 100,000 decks with a Reality Fracture commander on EDHREC, as of October 29, 2026. Nine cards hold more than half of them, and 35 of the 89 have fewer than 100 decks each.

Verdict

Tam, Vraska, Soul of Stone and four of the five Elder Sphinxes are the main-set commanders people actually build, along with Jace, Multiverse Architect from the precon. Of the same-name pairs, one half usually takes almost all the decks: Saheeli, Vraska, Tetsuko and Pia lead their partners by 30 to 78 times.

Tam, the Possibility, Vraska, Soul of Stone, Ingris Stingerquill and Kwia Vigorbloom card faces side by side, four of the most-built Reality Fracture commanders on EDHREC

Reality Fracture commanders come from two sets: 75 cards in the main set and 14 in the Commander set (FRC) can lead a deck, 89 in all. All 14 FRC cards come in the Multiverse Reforged precon, whose face commander is Jace, Multiverse Architect. We ranked all 89 by the number of decks players have logged on EDHREC with each one as commander, read on October 29, 2026, and split them into five tiers. That's a measure of what people build, not a power ranking, and it's the clearest answer we have to "which of these new commanders are people actually playing?"

How we ranked them

Every count below is EDHREC's deck count for the card's commander page as of October 29, 2026. EDHREC counts decklists that players upload to sites like Moxfield and Archidekt, and that includes decks still close to a precon's list, which matters for the FRC cards (see Jace below). We marked the FRC cards so you can read them separately.

The tiers are simple cut-offs on that count:

S5,000 or more9
A1,000 to 4,99910
B300 to 99917
C100 to 29918

As of October 29, 2026, all 89 together have 103,763 decks: 61,921 for the main set and 41,842 for FRC. The six most-logged main-set commanders hold 60.9 percent of the main-set decks. The 56 uncommon commanders hold 12,646, about one deck in eight.

frc-1frc-1 card artfrc-1Shop on TCGplayer Jace, Multiverse Architect. A planeswalker that can be your commander, and the face of the set's only precon. Its +1 draws two and puts one back, and its -3 exiles one of your own creatures or planeswalkers to put the next creature or planeswalker from your library onto the battlefield. About half of its decks are still close to the box: EDHREC's Multiverse Reforged precon page matches 6,636 of the 13,655 Jace decks to the precon list, counting a deck when it shares enough cards with it. Our Multiverse Reforged upgrade guide covers what to change.

fra-276fra-276 card artfra-276Shop on TCGplayer Tam, the Possibility. A three-mana 2/4 with a five-color identity. Planeswalker spells cost {1} less, and for all five colors and a tap it proliferates once for each planeswalker type you control. That makes it the superfriends commander of the set. It was already the most-logged main-set commander on October 20, at 6,931 decks, and it has grown 14.8 percent since.

fra-277fra-277 card artfra-277Shop on TCGplayer Vraska, Soul of Stone. Every noncreature spell you cast makes a 1/1 Sculpture Treasure artifact creature, and your artifact creatures have vigilance. LeftCoyote, in an October 17 r/EDH thread about which Reality Fracture commanders people like: "[[Vraska, Soul of Stone]] polymorph is awesome" (comment). The Sculptures are creature tokens, so they make good targets for polymorph effects like Proteus Staff, which LeftCoyote names as the deck's goal.

The four Elder Sphinxes. fra-137fra-137 card artfra-137Shop on TCGplayer Ingris Stingerquill, fra-140fra-140 card artfra-140Shop on TCGplayer Kwia Vigorbloom, fra-121fra-121 card artfra-121Shop on TCGplayer Aerid Konstrari and fra-128fra-128 card artfra-128Shop on TCGplayer Denzilore Fatehold all sit between 5,395 and 5,773 decks, and the fifth, Uldaros Theorix, has 1,388. Ingris pings each opponent whenever one of your creatures attacks. Kwia has flying, vigilance, lifelink and ward 2, and makes a Lotus token the first time you gain life each turn. Aerid makes Heartwood mana rocks. Denzilore puts a +1/+1 counter on each of your creatures whenever you scry or surveil.

frc-12frc-12 card artfrc-12Shop on TCGplayer The Ur-Sphinx and frc-10frc-10 card artfrc-10Shop on TCGplayer Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel. Both FRC cards. The Ur-Sphinx is a nine-mana 10/10 with eminence: from the command zone it makes your other Sphinx spells cost {1} less, which is why it pairs with the Elder Sphinxes. Niv-Mizzet lets you pay life equal to what you gained to draw that many cards.

The last two, Saheeli (blue-red) and Geist (blue), crossed 1,000 in the last few days: on October 26 Saheeli had 965 decks and Geist 973. fra-214fra-214 card artfra-214Shop on TCGplayer Geist of Saint Thalia is a two-mana flier that makes your noncreature spells cost {1} less. B tier: 300 to 999 decks

EDHREC decks as of October 29, 2026: Lyra, Tolarian Archangel 976, Liliana the Faultless 913, Pia, Aether Ascetic 783, Loot, the Anomaly 747, Liliana the Repentant 740, Ghalta the Immovable 712, Fblthp, Impossibly Lost 697, Tinybones, Pocket Nuisance 693, Ginger, Queen of Sweets (FRC) 638, Koth, the Geomancer 625, Tamiyo, Upriser Crowned (FRC) 610, Titanbones, Towering Heart 392, Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun 384, Jiang Yanggu, Alone 378, Samut, Hazoret's Champion 373, Lyra, Archangel of Dawn 344, Yargle, Glutton of Urborg 332.

Lyra, Tolarian Archangel, another blue commander, leads this tier at 976, 24 decks short of 1,000. Both Lilianas and both Samuts sit here, and they are the two most-built pairs whose halves are close to even.

C and D tiers: under 300 decks

The C tier (100 to 299) has 18 commanders, among them fra-1fra-1 card artfra-1Shop on TCGplayer Emrakul, the Exigent Doom with 148 decks as of October 29 and the FRC card Akroma, Angel of Fury, which slipped from 300 to 299. Emrakul is in our best cards in Reality Fracture list for what it does in the 99, not as a commander. The D tier has 35, and the lowest three are Teyo, Lightshield Expert (8), Proft, Sinister Mastermind (4) and Teyo, Diamondblade Mage (4). Karn, Argent Defender, which stops creatures and artifacts entering from triggering anything, has 97.

The same-name pairs: one half takes the decks

Most of the main set's uncommon legends come in pairs: two cards for the same character, one from each version of the world. There are 30 pairs that share a name. Here are the nine with the most decks between them, as of October 29, 2026:

Just outside the nine are Fblthp (763 decks between the two), Samut (757) and Koth (754). The blue halves do well: Tetsuko, Lyra, Saheeli (blue-red) and Fblthp, Impossibly Lost (697 against 66) all lead their pairs. Five pairs are close to even, with the bigger half under one and a half times the smaller: Liliana (913 against 740), Samut (384 against 373), Edgar (286 against 200), Danitha (34 against 33) and Hapatra (33 against 26). Our Reality Fracture Commander preview has the card text for the planeswalker pairs.

How often they come down on curve

We took EDHREC's average deck for each S-tier commander, read October 26, and shuffled it 100,000 times to see how often you have enough lands to cast the commander on curve, counting lands only. Ramp spells and mana rocks make every number here better, so treat these as the floor.

CommanderMana valueLands in average deckOn curve, going firstOn curve, drawing first
Tam, the Possibility33568.1%75.9%
Vraska, Soul of Stone33568.1%76.0%

Jace, Multiverse Architect53739.2%48.8%
Kwia Vigorbloom63623.1%30.9%

The three-mana commanders arrive on turn 3 in about two games of three on lands alone. Kwia and The Ur-Sphinx depend on ramp, and The Ur-Sphinx's eminence discount applies only to your other Sphinx spells, not to itself.

Our take

If you want a Reality Fracture commander that other people at the table will recognize, Tam, Vraska and the four Elder Sphinxes are where the decks are. If you want something fewer people have built, the cheap, focused commanders around 1,000 decks, Geist of Saint Thalia and Lyra, Tolarian Archangel, are the ones we'd try. These counts measure popularity, not strength, and a card with 300 decks can still be the right deck for your table. Precon players should read our Reality Fracture precons ranked first.

How we checked this

We pulled the list of commanders from Scryfall (every card in the FRA and FRC sets that can be a commander, 89 cards) and read each one's EDHREC commander page on October 26, 2026, then again on October 29 to refresh every count before publishing. The same-name pairs are two main-set cards whose names start with the same word. The on-curve odds use EDHREC's average decklist for each S-tier commander, read October 26, and 100,000 shuffles each, with no mulligans and lands only. The growth figures compare these counts with the ones we read on October 20 for our Commander preview. The precon count comes from EDHREC's Multiverse Reforged precon page, which compares every deck with the precon list.
